Earl Sweatshirt Sails Around His Mind Over A Flipped Madlib & Flying Lotus Beat (Audio)

Earl Sweatshirt has been fairly quiet since releasing his sophomore major label album in 2015. The Tan Cressida/Columbia Records artist appears back in action now.

Reportedly on a secret Soundcloud account he created, the Los Angeles, California MC/producer gets busy on a beat made by Madlib and Flying Lotus. As he is known for, Sweatshirt gets lucid with dense, figurative language about his life and times, and music game. “Wind In My Sails” is especially soulful with the sample-driven beat, and the onetime Odd Future breakout wrings out his soul on the beat. There are a lot of raw lyrics about here, in an apparent stream of consciousness moment.

On the same Soundcloud, Earl also just posted two remix beats he made.

I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside released last March.
