Nas Is Balling Like It’s March Madness On This New Freestyle (Audio)

It’s been nearly 4 years since Nas released an album, but he’s stayed active through surgical strikes, here and there. In 2015, he laced tracks with Scarface, Jeezy, Dave East and more. He gets off to a quick start this year, as he takes over Future’s “March Madness” with a verse that plays like a buzzer beater that touches nothing but net.

Nas’ freestyle premiered on Drake’s OVO radio show on Beats 1 this evening, and it features some of Nasir’s more aggressive raps in some time. “I’m Hip-Hop baby dad, and all of y’all are my litter, my little kids,” he boasts. Later, he contends “pick a city, I’ll knock 4 of your baddest.”

Let’s hope Mr. Jones is warming up for a long, hot summer of releases.
