For years now, Heads have heard of Asher Roth and Nottz’ collaborative work. In 2010, the Pennsylvania MC and Virginia producer/MC made The Rawth, a free download EP. More than five years later, the duo adds Travis Barker (Blink 182) to the fold and does it again.

With a live drummer, and highly capable production hands added to the platinum-plus repertoire of Nottz Raw, Rawther is an enhancement. The six song EP features Royce Da 5’9, with all three artists putting it down in their capacities.

Nottz steps into the booth and reprises his Rap reputation with some especially hard deliveries on beats he and Trav’ made. Fans of hard-hitting beats, trippy instrumental accents that still play support to lyrically-advanced MCs have a lot to like here. With that said, “Temptation” is a really ideal starting point:
