With his sophomore studio album Lead Poison now released, Elzhi is the latest guest on Tony Touch’s Toca Tuesdays radio show. There, the Detroit, Michigan MC veteran was not immune to the hot seat. He tackles two beats. Fans of Motown music will particularly enjoy El’ buckling down on Dilla’s “Cadillac” instrumental from the 2009 Jay Stay Paid LP. Two very important members of the past Slum Village movement come together in spirit.

Elzhi makes it clear, especially after the first helping of bars, that he’s coming off the top of the dome on the first beat, in the spirit of Hip-Hop.
