Anderson .Paak & T.I. Elevate “Come Down” Through A Dazzling Performance (Video)

Anderson .Paak’s Malibu has many charms. “Come Down,” produced by Reflection Eternal’s Hi-Tek is just one. As the California singer, MC, and drummer continues to take his independent Empire release and garner acclaim, attention, and legions of new fans, the rest of the Hip-Hop space wants in. Now signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment, the artist who recently tweeted “no more features” cannot stop high-profile peers from wanting on his sound.

T.I. is just the latest platinum star (joining Dre, The Game, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) to link with the Oxnard, California native. Appearing on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Anderson, T.I.P., and the Free Nationals came together for a shutdown performance. As he’s done before, .Paak kicks it off from behind the drums, then bursts out to steal the show. T.I.’s verse is grabbing, as the Grand Hustle Records CEO finds the pocket of the Funk track—waxing rhymes about his Trap days, and the inequalities of the judicial system. The show gets a standing ovation, and an ecstatic host in Fallon.
