Cella Dwellas’ Phantasm Raps With That Basement Grit (Video)

The Cella Dwellas made some serious noise in the late 1990s. On the same Loud Records that introduced the masses to Wu-Tang Clan, Big Pun, and dead prez, Flatbush, Brooklyn duo of Ug The Imagination and Phantasm The Tall Man released two albums, with ’96 debut Realms N’ Reality reaching the Top 200.

Both MCs are still in the game. First heard on Masta Ace Incorporated’s Sittin’ On Chrome LP, 21 years later, Phantasm releases his first music video in some time. For those seeking an accessible 1990s Hip-Hop sound, with a strong delivery over a knocking beat, “Louder Than Ever” measures up.
