Westside Gunn, Conway & Royce 5’9 Let Off 100,000 Rounds On A Killer Mixtape (Audio)

Things are moving for Westside Gunn and Conway. Fast. Last week, Eminem’s Shady Records announced that they had signed with Gunn’s Griselda Records for solo and group deals with Gunn and his brother, Conway The Machine, as both solo and group acts. The announcement came with the release of the Just Blaze-produced record, “MachineGun Black.”

Today, after an appearance on Sway in the Morning, Westside Gunn has released a new mixtape, hosted by Green Lantern. The 24-track project is filled with the grit and grime fans have come to expect from Gunn, and features some choice guest appearances, including from Action Bronson, Roc Marciano and, of course, Conway.

One of the standout tracks unites Shady’s newest signees with one of its stalwart veterans. Royce 5’9, who has graced the roster as part of his Slaughterhouse collective with Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Kxng Crooked, joins Gunn and Conway on the appropriately titled “100,000 Machine Gunz.” As the name suggests, the record is an all-out assault of bars, over a slow-burning soulful track that leaves plenty of room for the MCs to breathe hot fire.
