Footage Appears To Show 50 Cent Punching An Overzealous Female Fan At A Show (Video)

On Saturday night (April 8), 50 Cent joined The LOX onstage as a surprise guest during their stop at Baltimore Soundstage, for their Filthy America tour. 50 appears to be in good spirits, as he walks the stage, however, as he reaches down to extend his hand to a fan, things take a turn.

In footage obtained by TMZ, the fan, later revealed to be a woman, does not let go of 50’s hand, and he is pulled off the stage toward her. As he falls, 50 (real name Curtis Jackson) can be seen pulling back his free hand in a punching motion and appearing to swing at the woman, with his microphone in hand. When the video is slowed, the apparent punch seems even more pronounced. As the incident unfolds, members of the audience, and those on stage, can be seen and heard reacting in disbelief.

Immediately after he makes his way back on stage, Jackson seems keenly aware of what has happened and the potential fallout, and he diffuses the situation by inviting the fan onstage. “Tell her to come over here,” he says, and then motions for her to join him on stage. Security places her on stage, and 50 can be seen whispering something in her ear. Later in the video, the woman is shown dancing on stage, seemingly enjoying herself and no worse for the wear.

Last year, Kevin Gates encountered a similar situation. Gates says a woman was groping him repeatedly, and grabbed his testicles. He responded by kicking her in her chest, later saying in a Breakfast Club interview that he did so, in part, to show his daughter, who was in attendance, that she should not allow anyone to put hands on her. Gates was later sentenced to 180 days in jail for battery, due to the incident.

50 Cent has not commented on Saturday’s incident.
