Nick Grant Enters A House Of Horrors & Spits Vicious Verses Before Bouncin’ (Video)

South Carolina’s Nick Grant is one of the most exciting new faces in Hip-Hop at the moment. He has cosigns from Andre 3000, Nas, Bun B, and others. However, it is his recent Return Of The Cool album that may speak the loudest. The MC follows up his 88 mixtape with an album of technically advanced rapping, and some standout showmanship in the visuals.

That is the case for “Bouncin’,” one of the Epic Records LP’s 11 songs. In the visual, Grant pulls up in his hydraulic equipped late ’70s Chevy Monte Carlo. After the car fills with smoke, he enters what appears to be a haunted mansion, complete with expressionless hosts, fire-breathing women, and curious cocktails. Grant seems to fit right in, as he delivers boastful bars:

Somebody tell them ni**as that I’m legendary / We gon’ check ’em first, like the secretary / Leap the competition / 29th of February / This double M is all I need / I think I’m Meth & Mary / Bouncin’ / I peel off like a dead ni**a’ / Shooter do it himself / Boy he Blair Witchin’ / Blood spillin’ over beef / I’m a rare ni**a / And we don’t run from nothin’ / ‘Less the feds with ya’ / How you want it? / This that ’96 Pac / Never met a nah notha ni**a this hot / Pen game dope, scribble ’til my wrist lock.

The self-proclaimed Blair Witch MC is not afraid in the house of horrors. In fact, he makes his exit with a fellow party-goer, back to the lowrider.
