Bone Thugs Pay Respect To Hip-Hop’s Fallen Heroes & All Those Gone Too Soon (Video)

The biggest hit of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s career was a soulful tribute. “Tha Crossroads” honored the dead within the Ohio collective, as well as their late mentor, Eazy-E. With an emotional music video, the spiritual song propelled the group for the next 20-plus-years.

Bizzy Says He & Krayzie Are The Ones Capable Of Creating New Waves For Bone Thugs (Video)

Krayzie and Bizzy Bone recently released New Waves from their Bone Thugs venture. The song “Turn The Page” sounds completely different than “Crossroads,” but the sentiments remain. Featuring Brooklyn’s Uncle Murda, the artists stay in New York City for the visual.

While there, they perform the evocative song in front of murals honoring Sean Price, Jam Master Jay, Phife Dawg (with all of A Tribe Called Quest), and B.T.N.H. collaborator Biggie Smalls. The last is the same BK mural that was saved in May. In related news, this week vandals twice defaced a newly-completed Prodigy mural in Queens. Bone Thugs’ manager Steve Lobel also worked closely with Run-D.M.C., especially Jay.
