Big K.R.I.T. Kills And Buries Himself In A New Video

In the last 24 hours, Big K.R.I.T. has rallied. The Meridian, Mississippi multi-threat dropped the first single to an upcoming project. “Confetti” showered down good news that there is some exciting life after Def Jam ahead for one of the greatest emerging artists of the last decade.

Just mere hours later, Heads get a closer look into what Krizzle is up to. He releases a video trailer that while just over 90 seconds, follows K.R.I.T. burying his former self in the woods one dark night. Much like the opening to Goodfellas (though a bit more country), this suspenseful opening is a turning point.

For years, Heads believed that a major label would afford K.R.I.T. the success he deserved. In 2017, in the wake of developments from Chance The Rapper, Lecrae, and others, K.R.I.T.’s career is in his own hands and resurrected. The old MC/producer is put to rest, as far as what weighed hm down.
