The 2017 Paid Dues Festival Is Postponed

Less than two months ago, it was reported that Murs’ Paid Dues Festival was revived after a hiatus since 2013. With the news came word that Ghostface Killah & Raekwon, Lil Wayne, PRhyme, Rapsody, and others would headline the Los Angeles, California event on September 16 and 17.

That event has now been canceled. Promoters posted online that due to “unforeseen circumstances,” Paid Dues will not happen as planned. Ticket-holders will be issued refunds. The previous announcement post was also removed. The announcement suggests the event will take place at a later date:

Murs has yet to address the matter publicly. However, the news comes in the same week that one of the headliners, Lil Wayne, was hospitalized while in Chicago:

Wayne was reportedly ordered by his treating doctors to take two weeks off.
