Oddisee Is In Amazing Stride. He Pops His Collar On A New Single (Audio)

Oddisee Is Having The Best Year Of His Career & The Great Music Keeps Coming (Audio)

Last week, Oddisee released an a la carte track (“Never Lived”) with Adult Swim. This week, the artist gives a strong show of support to Mello Music Group label-mate, L’Orange. As the Nashville, Tennessee producer gears up for The Ordinary Man (October 27), he unleashes lead single “Look Around.”

The beat is a Soul sample groove, with several layers including a bassline, multiple vocals, and more. Cocky on the pepped-up beat, Oddy’ spits about how he isn’t in a position to take bad deals, accept less than the best, or waste time. Oddisee is polite and humble, but he’s earned the right to flex. He does so, bragging about hard work, great art, and reflecting on his life and times.
