Kanye West Is Releasing A New Solo Project & A Joint Album With Kid Cudi

It has been two big years since Kanye West released an album. Since The Life Of Pablo, the life of ‘Ye has been a wild ride ever since. The period marked one of West’s most private periods since abruptly canceling his 2016 tour and reportedly receiving medical treatment.

For months, West has been recording in Wyoming. Kid Cudi, Nas, Pusha T, Travis Scott, and Mike Dean have been among the visitors of the unspecified studio location. After apparently shunning the public eye for some time, West returned to social media in a big way, and he’s driving news.

On Twitter tonight (April 19), ‘Ye provided more detail to what he is doing. West is releasing not one album, but two. According to tweets, West will release a seven-song solo project on June 1. The release marks West’s least tracks on a project.

While his eighth release does not presently have a title, West provided a name for an album he intends to drop just one week later (June 8). On that day, Kanye West and former G.O.O.D. Music star Kid Cudi will reportedly release Kids See Ghost. The album title also doubles as a group name.

West and Cudi had an impressive run between 2008 and 2013. Following Yeezus, the mentor and protege had public disputes online and in concerts. G.O.O.D. Music’s founder also announced that Pusha T will release his third solo LP on May 25. Teyana Taylor will drop her sophomore album on June 22.
