It’s officially been 15 years of following the greatness that is Crooked I. The Long Beach MC’s alliteration, sincerity and his sharp delivery have made him one of the best in class for much of that time. Strangely, the former Noo-Trybe/Virgin and later Death Row Records hopeful has never had a true solo full-length album. That’s changing next week, courtesy of Treacherous Records’ Apex Predator release. The one early look from the man’s who’s provided critical assistance to Kurupt, Luniz and Tech N9ne (in addition to Slaughterhouse) is “Y.O.D.O.” A tongue-in-cheek response to the “Y.O.L.O.” phenomenon, the LBC vet reminds us of our mortality with this charged message from the “Bad Guy.” Related: Crooked I – Be Heard Sessions (Video)
