Danny Brown – ODB (Video)
From disagreeing with his label a few weeks ago about the release of his long-anticipated album, Old, Danny Brown quickly got a release date for September 30. Fool’s Gold Records and D.B. unloaded the first video single, “ODB.” Originally, there was talk of the album being called that, now shortened to simply Old. Paul White produced this psychedelic cut. The video has colors to match the beat, and self-explanatory images of Brown calling himself out. If this burst of Danny Brown content whets your appetite, I strongly urge anybody who hasn’t heard it, to check the Black & Brown album from 2011, of Danny rocking over Black Milk beats. People act like it’s not an album, but it thumped, and is right on par with this here.
