Goodie Mob – Special Education ft The Roots (Live Video)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home. But, there are doubters, so, we need your help. If you have enjoyed anything on AFH over the last 7 years, we are asking you to subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting really excited about Age Against The Machine. Given Goodie Mob’s classic album beginnings (Soul Food), we can all agree that personnel moves prevented the Dungeon Family O.G.’s from ever living up to their truest potential. “Special Education” sounds like a true time capsule. I think Khujo Goodie, always underrated, steals the show on this one. The chorus is polished, and The Roots’ backing is subdued, sounding like a true album track. Few groups have the ability to balance substance and style the way Goodie Mob and The Roots have. I might have to pre-order this joint today. Related: Goodie Mob – I’m Set (Video)
