After confirming this project earlier this month, fans get a first glimpse of the Serial Killers’ self-titled project. This includes Cypress Hill lead MC B-Real and longtime protege Demrick (who also came up in the Kurupt-backed Tangled Thoughts clique). The Serial Killers features strong involvement from Xzibit, who drops in on this track.

It’s cool to hear X-to-the-Z and B-Real honed in over the kind of percussion-heavy production that introduced both MC’s in the early ’90s. This is just some lynguistics from two guys who have media images to uphold, and aren’t afraid to give the fans what we’ve been asking for, for some time. I hope Serial Killers gives Young De the look he deserves, and restores B-Real to the level he’s built on the 20th anniversary of Black Sunday.
