The Poets Of Rhythm are a veteran Funk outfit from Munich, Germany that are celebrating their 21st year of making music. To Heads, you may have heard the P.O.R. band when they linked with Quannum Projects (especially Latyrx) in the late ’90s-early 2000s. With Brooklyn-based modern-Funk empire Daptone Records putting out an anthology next week, they hollered at triple-threat MC/producer/DJ Edan (Beauty & The Beat) to do a tribute mix on video.

Ever the methodical-sound-scientist, The Humble Magnificent brought his latest hairdoo and echo effects for this dope two-plus minute video rapping about the Poets’ importance and simultaneously cutting up their impact.
