Havoc has enjoyed a nice year with his 13 album. One of the mid-to-late 1990s’ greatest producer/MC keeps prolific in and out of Mobb Deep work. One collaboration that fits quite nicely is this Twista-assisted “Eyes Open.” Hav laces the track which hits the mid-tempo zone perfect for the leader of the Speedknot Mobstaz to slice it up like sashimi tuna. As the years go by, my admiration and appreciation for Twista increases tremendously. This song is a cool collaboration from two Class Of ’92-’93 Hip-Hop giants.
