Haven’t Kanye West and Jay Z’s timing on things (as related to each other) been curious in 2013? As if Jay Z’s sneak-attack of Magna Carta Holy Grail just days after Kanye’s own surprise-styled release of Yeezus wasn’t enough, the same thing appears to have happened today with touring.

Just hours after Kanye West and Def Jam Records announced his Yeezus Tour with Kendrick Lamar, Hov and Samsung hit us with Magna Carta Holy Grail World Tour dates.

If that wasn’t enough, ‘Ye is bringing Kendrick Lamar along for the bulk of his dates. Sadly for East Coast fans, K.Dot will be missing the NYC and Philly dates.

Needless to say, Lil Wayne, T.I. & 2 Chainz’ America’s Most Wanted Tour and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ World Tour has some heavy-weight company—as three of 2013’s biggest artists, and biggest stories take the road in two different, simultaneously announced tours. This has three acts … watchin’ the throne.

Guests on Jay’s tour and overseas dates haven’t been announced yet, but tickets go on sale next Thursday (September 12—a day before Yeezus Tour dates). Samsung users can text “LNAPP” (Live Nation App) to “404040” for a chance at exclusive pre-sale offers.
