Nearly a decade removed from his Def Jux tenure, RJD2 carefully and creatively plans his Hip-Hop moments. The Columbus veteran producer/DJ perhaps best known for crafting the “Mad Men” theme (let’s not forget, it was an Aceyalone beat first) linked back up with J-Live for “Her Majesty’s Socialist Request.” This Candy Panther remix kinda has that El-P feel, with J-Live getting especially amped. Both of these artists made the early 2000s so special for me, and I love seeing them work together. What’s more, you can download it before (at the artists’ requests)

Or just stream it.
