Moments ago, DJ Quik announced that he’s selling his drum machines and production equipment. The Compton icon has produced for 2Pac, Jay Z, Hi-C, Suga Free, Penthouse Players Clique, AMG, 2nd II None, Mausberg, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Debarge, Raphael Saadiq, and a host of others.

Previously, Quik has dropped the DJ, changed his name to David Blake, broken away from Gangsta Rap, and made other proclamations that changed in time. Hopefully, this is one of those too.
