Arguably, Onyx has not made a new studio album since 2003’s Triggernometry. The Cold Case Files series balanced new recordings with old recordings in the digital format. However, Sticky Fingaz, Sonsee and Fredro Starr have all stayed busy in various forms. Now working on Cuzo the mad-face is back at it, including work with Statik Selektah (who spells his name like he belonged in the Queens crew since the ’90s). Together, the foursome unloads “We Get Live” with Myster DL.

There’s something about Halloween that makes Onyx especially potent.
