While he came up under Guru and Ill Kid Records, I always wanted True Master to get additional looks outside of the Wu-Tang Clan family. In a crew led by RZA, it’s not always easy for True, Allah Mathematics, 4th Disciple, Bronze Nazareth, and the other many talented music-makers under the umbrella. True made joints like Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Brooklyn Zoo,” Killah Priest’s “One Step,” and Inspectah Deck’s “R.E.C. Room.” The man with that dusty-sounding mix recently released his own Master Craftsmen. Here’s a loosie from the effort, featuring the Rebel INS, and a particularly upset Ghostface Killah. Fans of Starks will love some of these raspy-rhymes.
