Los Angeles’ Flying Lotus is in and out of Hip-Hop. With his celebrated solo albums, the Electronic musician veers into Jazz, House, Disco, and elements all of his own. However, the respected producer can never seem to stay away—producing joints for Mac Miller, Killer Mike, Finale, and Blu.

That said, FlyLo, who is said to have collaborated with Kanye West on music the public has yet to hear, gave a treatment with homie Thundercat to Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead.” The original song is very much in tact, but the guys extend the movements that compelled them to the driving track.

It’s rare to see light-handed remixes in the digital age. Remember when vinyl B-sides (thinking Dr. Dre, Showbiz & A.G., and 45 King) had very slight differences?
