Earlier this year, Jay Z and Dame Dash were photographed together for the first time in nine years, courtesy of a mutual friend’s birthday partner. Two-thirds of Roc-A-Fella Records’ founders have a speckled history following the dismantling of the label, and Jay’s brief retirement.

While Dame publicly questioned Jay’s loyalty to friends, Jay resorted to records to address the separation from the once inseparable artist and manager going back to the early ’90s.

However, if this summer’s photograph seemed to be a fluke, a new photo released of the pair, back stage from Jay’s Magna Holy Grail Tour stop at Los Angeles, California’s Staples Center last night (December 9).

The flick appears to be a gesture to Dame’s daughter, Ava. The smiles appear genuine.

Do you think there is any future dealings here?
