Mobb Deep Dusts Off An Infamy Classic For A Mack Wilds Remix With French Montana (Audio)

While everybody is stuck on The Infamous, Hell On Earth, and Murda Muzik, Mobb Deep’s fifth album, Infamy remains pretty tight. The last Loud Records effort featured Big Noyd and The Infamous Mobb close, with some of Havoc’s best work. One cut that still gets “Burn” is the track of the same name (also called “The Learning”).

Twelve years later (to the week) Havoc and Prodigy dusted off the beat, and then spit new bars for Mack Wilds’ “Hennessy.” The two Q-U cats known for drinking E&J Brandy switch brands to the company who uses their fellow Queens native Nas as a spokesman. French Montana, who is no friend to G-Unit, also appears on the cut that’s all about intoxication—of drink, of women, of fame.
