MF DOOM Has $100 Mask Rings For Sale

From the front-man to Elektra Records group KMD to a Top 200 charting MC, MF DOOM has lived the underground Hip-Hop story. The veiled MC, born in England, but forever entrenched in the ’90s New York City (even though he’s moved all over) has transcended genre, and through work with Madlib, Dangermouse, and Cartoon Network, has become something of a pop culture sensation. For fans of KMD, or Heads who remembered the introduction of MF DOOM through Fondle ‘Em Records singles, and subsequently Operation Doomsday, this was never something to predict.

With that said, the food-loving MC who also fronted Monsta Island Czars has teamed with Nature Sounds Records to release limited edition mask rings. This is just days after DOOM made a video showing off some custom Clarks. In three sizes, with inscriptions and a red stone, these $100 rings ship next week, and are modeled by the man also known as Viktor Vaughn himself:

Joining the Master P bobble-head doll, talking Ghostface Killah, and the DOOM lunchbox that Stones Throw Records already released, this is one of Hip-Hop’s cooler pieces of merchandising.

Would you cop?
