Ice Cube Says He’s Reverting Back To The Old Days On Sic Them Youngins On ‘Em (Video)

Approaching the release of Everythang’s Corrupt on May 13th, Ice Cube unloads some more new music. “Sic Them Youngins On ‘Em” sports a new, sped-up flow by Cube. Moreover, on this song, Cube says a few really curious things, from “trying to go ham on Porky Pig” in a way that seemingly has nothing to do with police or Warner Bros. cartoons, threatening to grab the AK like the old days—later in the song, saying he’s “been around since the ’90s” (a gross undershoot of the fact that Cube’s days with C.I.A. and N.W.A. date back as far as 1986).

Close fans of Cube’s work know that at times, he can be a bit of a chameleon—from his days with N.W.A. into a Public Enemy sound, a G-Funk chapter, dabbling with Horrorcore, W.S.C.G., and a host of other mini-motifs on into the last 10 years.
