Over the years, Andre 3000 has worked out of the Hip-Hop genre with some monsters. Three Stacks has teamed with George Clinton (care of OutKast), in addition to working with Gwen Stefani, Lenny Kravitz, and of course the ‘Kast come-up with TLC.

However, Billboard is reporting that Mr. Benjamin is at work with none other than Aretha Franklin, the undisputed “Queen Of Soul.” Dre’s mentor Babyface is part of the project by the 72 year-old “Respect” classic-maker.

How’d Mrs. Franklin announce the news? “I think Andre 2000 – is it two or three? 3000 is going to be doing some of the tracks with [Babyface].” Aretha can say anything she wants.

On 2003’s A Rose Is Still A Rose, Aretha worked with Lauryn Hill, Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, and Dallas Austin.

How do you think this will sound?
