Redman released his first LP (Whut? Thee Album) on Def Jam Records 22 years ago. With Method Man’s own Tical debut blessing “the house that Russell and Rick built” 20 years ago this November, the Def Squad/Wu-Tang Clan connection are the elder statesmen of the imprint no longer owned by its founders (and since LL Cool J and Slick Rick are no longer in the fold). Well, amidst a stage that included Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and a lot of post-2010 faces for Def Jam, Red & Meth revisited their hits (together and apart) with that stage command that few MCs in the history of Hip-Hop can touch.

Who do you think is Def Jam’s current, and all-time MVP?
