Michael Jackson’s Archives Are Going To Be Produced By Which Hip-Hop Super-Producer? (Video)

It’s soon to be five years since “The King Of Pop” Michael Jackson tragically passed away. In addition to a diamond-paved catalog of hit songs and blockbuster albums, M.J. is soon to have a second posthumous LP. Named Xscape (no relation to the ’90s girl group), details are starting to emerge surrounding the Epic Records release (Jackson’s longtime label).

Due on May 13th (as of now), Xscape will include former Cash Money Records’ producer Rodney “Dark Child” Jerkins, Wiz Khalifa hit-maker Stargate, and OutKast’s mentor Antonio “L.A.” Reid. However, one name really pushed through the press malay this morning on “Good Morning America”: Timbaland.

Tim, who worked with Michael’s sister Janet on a few different cuts, has made hit albums for Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, and plenty of others. The rapper and Roc Nation producer is also known for his ties to Missy Elliot, Mad Skillz, Magoo, and a wave of Virginia talent.

How do you think this will sound? Do you think Quincy Jones should be the man to handle those recordings? Here’s a look at the artwork:
