Miguel is one of the more powerful voices in R&B right now. Blu’s homie is hard at work on a follow-up from 2012’s critically-acclaimed Kaleidoscope Dream. However, in between some soundtrack work, Miguel remade an Elton John classic, “Bennie & The Jets.” The 1973 original (that still sounds timeless) got a slowed down tempo, lots of special effects, and Miguel’s unique brand of Soul. This one also features Miguel’s frequent collaborator, Wale.
