Late last year, DJ Premier launched his Bars In The Booth series. Kicking things off with Papoose, the spot pairs MCs of all sorts with a Premo instrumental in the studio, seemingly on the spot. Next up, Premo goes to a peer in Dres. The former front-man of The Black Sheep, who is currently reaping evitaN with A Tribe Called Quest’s Jarobi, D-R-E-S employs a repetitive hook and gives his best batch of bars over a sparse beat. What do you think? How did the Native Tongues O.G., and longtime mentor to Chi-Ali do?
