Stones Throw Records has had a lot of buzz swinging around the internet lately with the impending release of their documentary film, Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, May 27. The Peanut Butter Wolf directed team consistently releases content that is highly regarded in the underground music scene and continues to deliver yet again with the release of artist Homeboy Sandman’s “Fat Belly” music video.

The New York emcee throws up a lyrical potluck featuring bars (not just candy) about the plethora of glorious edible options at his disposal over funky, fun filled instrumental samples from producer Paul White. Sandman’s insatiable appetite for writing and creating couldn’t be displayed more literally with this one, as the artist devours an actual feast with a host of “homeboys” packed like sardines at a backyard barbecue.

Stones Throw is a company that isn’t afraid to drop content that stays true to themselves and this hit is no exception. Get your fill of this track and more Sandman on the artist’s recently released project, White Sands.
