In less than 12 hours, (the opening ticks of April 8th), TDE’s songstress SZA will deliver her Z EP. With a nice sampling already in the marketplace, fans were treated to “Babylon” today. The track features star label-mate Kendrick Lamar with some incredibly dense, personal-feeling rhymes, while SZA’s cloudy vocals create a really unique vibe.

“6am in the morning on a Friday are my darkest hours.” – Kendrick Lamar

Like Frank Ocean snagged 2012 in the midst of Odd Future’s rise to prominence, do you think TDE will take SZA to one of the leading voices in the ever-changing R&B genre?
