Almost 25 years ago, Positive K made “I Got A Man,” an anthem about the road blocks in trying to step to an object of your desire. Off of Honest, Future and Andre 3000 take that same idea and update the language and aesthetic on “Benz Friendz (Whatchutola).”

Future, although uber-popular in the last three years, is seemingly the final, or latest link in the Dungeon Family/Organized Noize chain. Future, who is signed to Epic Records, was also mentored and signed by Rocko, another ATLien mainstay. On his just released Honest LP, Future linked with 3 Stacks. This song completely comes out of Fu’s wheelhouse, with Andre sounding as gritty as he has in some years.
