Legend has it that Kanye West signed Big Sean to G.O.O.D. Music after a chance meeting in an elevator at a Detroit, Michigan radio station. On the spot, Big Sean saw his chance to be “finally famous” and bombarded ‘Ye with some signature bars that did the unthinkable. History was made, as one of G.O.O.D.’s greatest homegrown acts was inked soon after. That was then though, right? That was before 2010, when things skyrocketed to another galaxy of fame, fantasy and pressures for West.

Kanye, who has rapped aplenty about his early ambitions in the Hip-Hop industry was taking a stroll home in SoHo over the weekend. While cameras tracked him from the front, a New York City aspiring artist popped up behind with verses for ‘Ye, and his entourage, including spouse, Kim Kardashian. ‘Ye is intent on getting to his destination, and the rap is barely audible to the TMZ cameras…but after a seemingly-100+ bar freestyle, how does the self-proclaimed “international asshole” react? You may be surprised.

If you were in Kanye West’s shoes, having his history, how would you react?
