Slaughterhouse Release a Surprise New Mixtape (Mixtape)

Crooked I, Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden take mics by force. On a somewhat sleepy week, the Shady Records lyrical quartet swarmed to claim the conversation with House Rules. The 10-track mixtape features no names (no gimmicks, either) featuring original production from Just Blaze, Nottz, Emanny, and others. This serves as a set-up to Glass House, the third LP (second on Shady) from the gang who formed over an Internet rift six or seven years ago, and has helped bring attention to MC fundamentals back on the biggest stages:

How do you feel about the sneak-attack, nameless approach? With some Heads claiming 2012’s On The House trumped the subsequent welcome to: OUR HOUSE album, how’s this next tape go down?
