Bronx, New Yorker The Kid Daytona has been moving and shakin’ for more than a few moons now, with ties to Lifted Research Group (LRG) clothing, as well as a host of established MCs ranging from Raekwon and Mic Geronimo to Freddie Gibbs. Here, Daytona, named for the joyrides in his youth, gets an out-of-time smoker from Brooklyn’s Harry Fraud, and simply dazzles with the wordplay.

“Type Ish” is indeed what many Heads like, and is one of the sharpest offerings from T.K.D. in the 2-0-1-4.
