Everybody’s had those missed connections. Since before the days of Craigslist, there have been those fatalistic encounters with others that pass all too quickly, without contact information exchanged. For the Think Like A Man Too Soundtrack, Mary J. Blige and Pharrell Williams recount experiences in a song called “See That Boy Again,” where all one can do is hope. Skateboard P also laces the joint with a dazzling beat straight out his repertoire of late ’70s, early ’80s sounds, without sounding heavy-handedly nostalgic. Twelve years later, these two are still razor sharp.
