Brian “B+” Cross, who is the talented, Dublin born photographer known for his work on a myriad of album covers, recently previewed his series Ghostnotes at the Unsung Heroes of the American West event last April.

The snapshots take a candid look back at some of Hip-Hop’s biggest names around the world including incredible shots of Notorious B.I.G, Nas, Lauryn Hill, Jay Electronica and Outkast. Take a look at the preview below.

“Through sequence and series, Ghostnotes connects an immense amount of musical terrain. From the underground sessions of South Central Los Angeles to the Ethiopian jazz master Mulatu Astatke, from the studio of J Dilla to the Afro Soundsystems of the Atlantic Coast of Colombia.”
