Apollo Brown’s beats are just so grim. The Mello Music Group mainstay has this amazing ability to create a frigidness on the track, even in the dead of Summer. For “Lonely & Cold,” his latest link with Roc Marciano, Brown hit the parks for a street-stuck journey in gritty black & white film footage. Roc’s equally stylized lyrics flash upon the screen, as The Left’s producer shows just how, who and when inspires his soulful sound.

This comes from Thirty Eight, the sole exception to Apollo’s instrumental effort.

Props to Noisey on the premiere.
