In the wake of the tragedy of Trayvon Martin’s death over two years ago, the family of the young man hosted a “Peace Walk & Peace Talk” in Los Angeles through the Trayvon Martin Foundation that was created in memory of their son.

The event itself was graced with the presence of fellow Los Angeles residents Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant, who took a few moments at the podium in Crenshaw High School to give their support for the event, express their concerns about the youth’s thought processes today, and the steps necessary to forging a brighter future.
