Scarface, who recently announced that an album with Nas is a 99.99% done deal, is dropping his first since 2008 in the form of his 12th studio album, Deeply Rooted. In addition, the Geto Boys rapper is writing a book of the same name in which he talks about multiple aspects of his life.

“I talk about the good times, the bad times…the game’s the same, you know. It don’t switch. The same rules apply in this game as it did in the other games that we played.”

In preparation for the release of the projects, the healthier, lighter Scarface teases fans with the release of his single, “Exit Plan,” featuring Konvict Muzik’s Akon. Take a listen and watch out for Deeply Rooted, later this year.
