This week, October’s Very Own PARTYNEXTDOOR announced PARTYNEXTDOOR Two. With the pre-release, the OVO singer offered up two cuts, with one being “Recognize.” Teaming once again with Drake, this slow and teased out simple song, which spans over five minutes. Like a vocal jam session, this record employs a few repetitive lines, mostly demanding recognition for being a superior mate. At nearly four minutes, Drizzy comes in, talking about his ’round the way girls, apologizing for a non-stop life and the demands of being a star.

With Drake’s career in high gear, how do you think OVO’s early legacy is shaping up?
