For nearly a decade, Curren$y has been among Hip-Hop’s biggest stars who has never been shy about giving away whole projects for free. The N’awlins native learned from his onetime mentor Lil Wayne that if you want the audience to buy your product, you have to build their dependency. So “deal or no deal,” the Jet Life pilot drops care packages to the Heads.

Saturday Night Car Tunes is an aptly-titled seven-song EP from Spitta’s summertime concoctions. Guests include close friend and longtime collaborator Wiz Khalifa, Andretti’s former YMCMB boss Birdman, and another versatile southern MC in Gunplay.

Contrary to the title and artwork, not all of the songs are centric to automobilia, however—per usual, fans get big doses of Spitta’s musings on Detroit muscle, and exotic imports to drop the clutch in.
