In 1995, two of New York City’s strongest Hip-Hop outfits were Das EFX and Smif-N-Wessun. The culture and skill still runs deep with Hit Squad and Boot Camp Clik. The cliques come together for Krazy Drayz’ “Rude Boy,” which features Tek and General Steele.

With hard, dead-pan rhymes, a scratch chorus, and that classic army fatigue aesthetic, this video shows that some things don’t change, they just evolve.
