Tune In With Chuuwee & The Chuuwee Channel (Album Stream)

Chuuwee answers some questions about his career since signing a record deal with Amalgam Digital, his reasons for moving away from Sacramento, and more about his life throughout his latest album, The Chuuwee Channel.

Instead of dedicating the album to the musicality of the decade a la his Wild Style series, Chuuwee tells his story through the eyes of the film and television culture of the 90’s and early 2000’s with references to programming such as Friends, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

The production on the project varies from the Trap flushed “Man Vs. Wild,” one that could have easily found it’s way on his ThriLL mixtape, to the soulful, Curtis Mayfield inspired “Dude Where’s My Car.” These soundscapes, provided by Nabeyin, Scottie Pimpin, and Foreign Languages, all pave the way for Chuuwee’s sharp, visual lyricism.

Be sure to check Chuuwee on tour with L.A. native Trizz performing tracks from their collaborative album, Amerikkas Most Blunted, as well as their most recent material.
